At our 28-student-placed preschool and day-long care centre, we cater for children 2 years to school age.
We provide education programs to support and develop your child's learning and an extensive school readiness program that is in place to prepare your child for their school journey.
Our Educators interact positively and meaningfully with children, helping children to feel accepted and to develop a sense of attachment and trust. Meaningful relationships with children and their families are apparent and contribute to children's confidence within the service. The children's dignity and rights are maintained and promoted.
Children collaborate, learn from and help each other through planned and spontaneous experiences, activities and routines. Educators support the children to resolve differences through communication, manage their own behaviour and respond appropriately to others.
The service supports children and their family through the orientation process which is a positive start to developing a respectful and supportive relationship. Family involvement in the program is encouraged and there is information about the service available.
The service is active in supporting families in their role through developing relationships and providing families with access to information and resources about the local community.
Information is shared to support the transition of children between room groups and to school. Partnerships are formed with support services and health professionals to ensure each child's inclusion and participation in the program.
The service supports children's sense of belonging by helping them to experience connections and be engaged with their local community.
